Yesterday we had Emma's Aunt Jenny come read to us.  She even made us a special snack that went along with the book.  The kids really enjoyed it.

Double birthday's today in Kindergarten.  Happy Birthday Sam and Dylan!  Also don't forget to come to the Sock Hop tonight from 6-8.

The kids are really enjoying having their parents come and visit.  Jerzie loved having her mom come in today and read to the class.  Thanks again to all of the parents who have taken the time to come and read to us.  If you didn't sign up but would still like to come in just send me a note.  We would love to have you.

During reading month students have the chance to guess how many items are in our guessing jar.  Today four students from our class won.  Congrats to Kyle, Hayden, Chase and Owen!

It's "O" week.  Today the kids made their octopus hats!

In honor of St. Patty's day we had some Lucky Charms for snack.  Before we ate them we graphed our marshmellows.  The tricky Leperchaun even snuck a gummy worm in the bottom of some of our cups of cereal.  Tricky Leperchaun.  Happy St. Patricks Day!

What a great way to end our week!  At the end of the day Anne Marie's mom came and read the kids "Green Eggs and Ham." The kids really enjoy being read to.

Today we practiced our SuperHero reading powers.  Mr. VanDamme was nice enough to take time out of his day to listen to some of our SuperHero readers. The students really enjoyed going to the office and reading to him.

What a great day! We ended our week with the Rock and Roll Assembly.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids really enjoyed singing along and moving with the music. Happy Friday everyone.  Enjoy the weather and the weekend.
